There are 3 body systems involved with skin breakouts; digestive system, endocrine system and detoxification system. We begin by laying the foundation for the 6 pillars of acne, discussing the role genetics & epigenetics play as well as relationship between acne and inflammation and identifying practical steps you can start taking right away.
Week 3-4
Acne & Gut Health Relationship
Good health begins in the gut. We dive into the role of a healthy gut microbiome understanding the digestive basics, what your poop says about your gut health, the role of certain foods to emphasize as well as avoid, probiotics, fermented foods and even relationship between acne and candida. You'll begin to feel empowered through beginning phases of detoxification and begin to live a gut healthy lifestyle!

1. Insulin Resistance
Balancing your blood sugar and healing insulin resistance are at the heart of curing acne. If you have four or more of the associated symptoms, you may need to balance your blood sugar.
